TAP supplies, installs and integrates the security systems that protect public transport networks: IP CCTV cameras for stations, corridors and vehicles, network video recorders, a central Video Management and Analytics System, access control with biometric identification, and passenger screening equipment.
Cameras with built-in intelligent analytics detect incidents as they happen, while every video stream is recorded locally and centrally for investigation and evidence. All systems are monitored from the control center, giving security teams a complete, live view of stations, platforms, corridors, depots and buses.
Security Layers
Layered Protection from the Corridor to the Control Room
TAP designs security in layers. Each layer has its own equipment, and every layer reports to the control center at the core.
Layer 1 · Corridor & Perimeter
Long-range PTZ cameras covering bus lanes, approaches and depot perimeters.
Layer 2 · Station Entrances
Walk-through and handheld metal detectors, entrance cameras and help-point intercoms.
Layer 3 · Concourses, Gate Lines & Platforms
Fixed cameras covering fare gates, vending machines, ticket offices, hallways and platform doors.
Layer 4 · Vehicles & Restricted Areas
On-board cameras and recorders; access-controlled equipment rooms and depots.
Camera Range
The Right Camera for Every Location
TAP supplies professional IP cameras selected for each location in the network. All cameras stream to the central video management system through open interfaces.

Video Analytics
From Recording to Real-Time Detection
Every component is supplied, installed and integrated by TAP.
Built-In Camera Analytics
Station and corridor cameras run intelligent detection on board the camera, generating alerts without additional servers.
- Motion detection
- Tripwire detection
- Intrusion detection
- Scene change detection
- Abandoned and missing objects
- Face detection
Platform Analytics
Cameras at platform doors measure passenger flows, giving operators a live view of crowding and boarding patterns.
- People counting
- Heat mapping
- Crowd density awareness
Central Analytics & Forensics
The Video Management and Analytics System brings every stream together for live monitoring, alert handling and post-event investigation.
- Central alert management
- Video wall integration
- Forensic search and review
- Evidence export
- Archiving to storage policy
- Security reporting
Recording & Storage
Tiers of Video Storage
Video is recorded at every level of the network, so footage is preserved even if a link or device fails, and is available centrally for monitoring, investigation and archiving.
On-Camera Storage
Local SD-card recording in each station camera, preserving footage during a network interruption.
On-Board NVR
Network video recorders on every bus record all on-board cameras for review and download.
Station Server / NVR
Multi-channel station recorders store every camera feed for a defined retention period and stream to the control center.
Video Management & Analytics System
Central storage, analytics and archive for the whole network, with secure access for monitoring and forensic review.
- 01Access control controllers and software
- 02Electronic access locks
- 03Biometric face and fingerprint readers
- 04Access control workstations
- 05Staff attendance records
- 06Access event logging and alarms
Access Control & Biometrics
Equipment rooms, control rooms, depots and other restricted areas are protected by an electronic access control system, managed centrally and monitored from the control center.
Biometric identification by face or fingerprint confirms who enters each area and records staff attendance, with every access event logged for audit.
Passenger Screening
A Controlled Screening Lane at Every Entrance
TAP equips station entrances with the equipment security staff need to screen passengers quickly and consistently.
- 01
Walk-Through Metal Detector
Multi-zone detectors with programmable sensitivity profiles locate ferrous and non-ferrous items, with visible and audible alarms and a bi-directional passenger counter.
- 02
Handheld Metal Detector
Rechargeable handheld detectors with optical, acoustic and vibrating alarms support targeted secondary screening throughout the operating day.
- 03
Bag Search Area
Search tables beside each detector allow bags to be checked without slowing the passenger flow.
- 04
Entrance Cameras
Cameras covering the screening lane record every passage for review and evidence.
