Sourced, inspected, imported and supported by one supplier, from the manufacturer to the installed unit.
TAP manages the complete supply chain behind an ITS program: strategic sourcing from qualified original equipment manufacturers, commercial negotiation, factory inspection, international freight, insurance, customs clearance and delivery to site, followed by spare parts and long-term lifecycle support.
Every item is sourced against the approved design and verified at defined quality gates before it reaches a station, depot or vehicle, so authorities receive new, certified, current-production equipment with full documentation and manufacturer backing.
Procurement Chain
Multiple Stages, One Accountable Supplier
TAP runs procurement as a controlled sequence, with a defined output at every stage and full traceability from the design requirement to the installed, serialized unit.
Requirement Definition
01Bills of quantities and technical specifications derived from the approved detailed design.

Every Item Meets the Same Standard
Transit equipment must work in public spaces and moving vehicles for years. TAP applies a consistent set of acceptance criteria to every item it supplies, regardless of manufacturer or country of origin.
Equipment that does not meet these criteria is not offered, and any change to one unit of a type is applied identically to all units of that type.

Quality Gates
Checks Before Anything Is Installed
Equipment passes five quality gates on its way to site. Authorities may witness any test, and test results are recorded against the requirements they verify.
- Gate 1
Supplier Qualification
Before orderingManufacturer capability, certification and support confirmed.
- Gate 2
Factory Acceptance
Before mass productionRepresentative units fully tested against the detailed design at the manufacturer's premises.
- Gate 3
Pre-Shipment Inspection
Before dispatchQuantities, configuration, labeling and packing verified.
- Gate 4
Receiving Inspection
On arrivalCondition, serial numbers and documents checked and recorded.
- Gate 5
Installation Readiness
Before installationUnits configured and bench-tested before release to site.
Spares & Lifecycle
Supported for the Life of the System
Procurement does not end at delivery. TAP plans spare parts and lifecycle support from the first purchase order, so equipment remains maintainable throughout long operation and maintenance periods.
Spare Parts
Spare holdings defined with each manufacturer, based on technical manuals and anticipated maintenance.
